After spending a week in police custody, well beyond the legally mandated 72-hour limit for detention without charges, Bora Sisawo has been released on bail.

The Gambian Police Force initially revoked his bail, citing ongoing investigations related to his social media posts and comments. However, Bora Sisawo was released without any charges being filed or specific posts/comments outlined by the police.

This development raises questions about due process and the transparency of the case. Bora will now be required to report to the Kairaba Police Station as part of his bail conditions, with the investigation still ongoing.

Additionally, the Police Public Relations Officer (PRO) has promised to keep the public informed of any further developments regarding the arrest of Bora Sisawo.
